Ashish Spring/Summer 2012
So ridiculous, but so good. I had the chance to interview London-based fashion designer Ashish Gupta last year for Cool Hunting, when I fell in love with his sequin ensembles. I recently checked back in and it’s as amazing as ever. Spring/Summer 2012 pictured here.
Bier Shampoo
Smallflower promises that Bier Shampoo will make your hair strong and shiny….not sure about that but I bet it will definitely relax your scalp!

Moonspoon Saloon: Lets Dance
This probably falls under ‘man repeller’ fashion but I couldn’t care less. Moonspoon Saloon’s Lets Dance sweater and matching platform shoes are just tooo fucking awesome.
Lazy Oaf X Burgerac Drawing Club T-shirt
My favorite burger blog, Burgerac, has its very own t-shirt now, selling through Lazy Oaf for £35.

Oak Black Label Toothbrush
Anyone who’s spent five minutes in my bathroom knows I have a small addiction to toothbrushes. I like this murdered out version from Oak, the one colorway I never did pick up from Paul Smith and the complete opposite of my Muji.

Brook Farm Toothbrush
Not sure about the actual size of these, but with handles made from recycled wood, flax and dollar bills, they’d all make lovely additions to my toothbrush collection.
Amanda Ross-Ho
Amanda Ross-Ho is a rad artist who explores negative space, turning out works that feel a little bit like a good trip. Backgrounds are exposed in the foreground and scale is distorted with staggering effect. This 2010 work — “Double Feature” — caught my eye for it’s curious simplicity and emphasis on form.

Aether Scoop Neck
Aether’s Scoop Neck tee for the ladies is insanely soft and fits like a glove. For something so simple, I’ve come to realize it sure is easy to fuck it up. I’m in love with this one.
Cooper-Hewitt Facelift
Today I popped up to the Cooper-Hewitt museum and noticed the awesome messaging for their newly embarked museum renovations, which I was told were created by none other than the masterminds at Wieden + Kennedy. This one particularly tickled me.
Paul Smith Helmets
I wish these kiddie helmets from Paul Smith would fit my noggin. I would be way more inclined to ride safely.
Grape Hi-Chew
Hi-Chew Japanese taffy is bonkers amazing. My bodega go-to, the grape flavor never lets me down. Fact.

In Focus: Hurricane Irene
The Atlantic’s In Focus section just put up a slideshow of Hurricane Irene images spanning the Eastern Seaboard. The breadth of Alan Taylor’s edit, and the slightly awkward perspective most of the photos possess is really captivating. It’s hard to convey without displaying the entire showcase, but these are two of my favorites for a start.
MTA + Flickr
The MTA has a Flickr page, and it’s actually kind of awesome. The recent coverage of the subway during Irene, views of the tunnels you don’t normally see, curious images of workers doing repairs and more.
Jeroen van der Spek
I wish the whole world could look like this sometimes. By photographer Jeroen van der Spek, who makes images you want to live in.
Invisible Zipper
I don’t know why but I really want this neon green zipper.
Wim Rietveld & Friso Kramer Drafting Table
Something I have always wanted. Well, a drafting table anyway. This just might be the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen. At City Furniture.
